Internationally, English Premier League side Manchester City head Coach Pep Guardiola has said that he would much prefer to get games sewn up long before the final few minutes as his team snatched a late victory last night. This is after a 2-1 win over West Ham at Etihad stadium. Second-half goals from Nicolas Otamendi and David Silva saw City turn a half-time deficit into a 2-1 win. West Ham had scored through Angelo Ogbonna in the first half. The win extended Manchester City’s lead at the helm of the log with 43 points from 15 league games. City will be in action this Wednesday against Shakhtar Donetsk in a Uefa Champions League match. The team will then face Manchester United in a Manchester derby this Sunday at Old Traford.
