KO’galo have played just 24 matches and have opened a nine point gap at the top of the Sportpesa Premier League table. With just ten matches to go in the 2017 season, The 15 time champions are leading Sofapaka FC with nine points and have yet to play their 25th game. Kogalo played to a barren draw with Thika United over the weekend but the loss of two points has not dented their title chase. Nakuru based Ulinzi Stars have played 23 matches and are 5th with 37 points, same as Nzoia Sugar and Posta Rangers who are 6th and 7th respectively. At the bottom of the table sit Thika United, Western Stima and Muhoroni Youth who are 16th 17th and 18th respectively.
