Gor ascends to top after beating Nakumatt 2-0

Former  Sportpesa premier league Champions Gor Mahia  moved back to the top of the standings after beating Nakumatt FC 2-0 at the Nyayo national stadium.  KO’gallo got the two goals through Eugene Ambulwa’s own goal and George Odhiambo’s individual strike in the 89th minute.  In other results, Tusker FC were held to a one all draw by Posta Rangers while  Ulinzi stars were beaten 2-1 by Nzoia Sugar. 2009 Champions Sofapaka drew 1-1 against Muhoroni Youth while  Kariobangi Sharks  were also held to a one all draw by Zoo Fc. Elsewhere, with the last leg of the national archery association of Kenya league season set to be held in October, players have intensified their preparations with their sights set on posting good results that will qualify them to play in advanced categories next season. Female archers Diram Elema and Zhoya Khan have expressed their hope of attaining good scores in the closing leg of the 4 legged league set for October 21st. Their male counterparts Jojo Adongo and Mohiyadin Dayib have also set their target on finishing the season on a high so as to qualify for continental championships in 2018.
