The Chief De Mission leading the Kenyan delegation to Australia next month, for the Commonwealth Games, Barnabas Korir, has urged Kenyans to focus more, on rallying behind the athletes travelling to represent Kenya in the Games, rather than the misgivings of the previous National Olympic Committee of Kenya office. Athletics Kenya, Nairobi branch chairman, Barnabas Korir, who will be leading the Kenyan delegation to the Commonwealth Games, in Gold Coast, Australia from the 4th to the 15th, has however, assured Kenyans that the April’s event will be free of any controversy. NOCK Secretary General F.K. Paul, has expressed the Committee’s confidence in Korir’s ability, to successfully oversee the games. Meanwhile, after a below par performance in Rio, Brazil, the Kenya women’s rugby team promises to do better in the games.
