National soccer ladies team Harambee Starlets is set to intensify its training at the Machakos County stadium ahead of its friendly international encounter against Lynch Burg FC from USA.The friendly match will be staged this Thursday at the same venue. It will be the first friendly game for the Jackline Akoth charges, in the aftermath of a maiden appearance at the Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) tournament that was staged in Limbe, Cameroon last year. During the championship, the team was eliminated in the group stages after losing 4-0 to Nigeria in their last group match. This friendly match will be used as a build up to the upcoming international friendly match against Jordan on September this year.
