The Wiper Party an affiliate to the NASA Coalition is keen to support Francis Nyenze’s widow Edith Vethi to succeed his deceased husband in Kitui West Constituency. Vethi is however expected to battle it out with various aspirants interested in the seat that fell vacant in December last year after the demise of Nyenze who had battled cancer of the colon for over a decade. The race is slated march 26th with more than 10 candidates showing interest. The Wiper party led by Kalonzo Musyoka has three candidates who have expressed interest for nomination. Another challenger is son to seasoned politician and former cabinet Minister Nyiva Mwendwa.
